October 14 – Moscow
Arrival at Moscow trainstation at about 09:30 am.
I was really looking forward to get to the hotel and get some more sleep and then go out for a bit of sightseeing.
– BUT, I had lost my immigration papers for Minsk, Belarus !!! So I had to go with the local promotor to the Belarus immigration office to fix it ! We went there by the subway and it was pretty far away. When we finally got there, it took me about 5 minutes to fill in the papers……then it was waiting, waiting and waiting……. Before I was back to the hotel, about 3 hours had passed and I missed both sleep and sightseeing !!! I just went up to my hotelroom, took a shower and then we met in the lobby and went to the venue for soundcheck.
The soundcheck went very fast so I had time for sightseeing anyway ! I walked about 2 kilometers down the road to have a look at The Red Square ! It was really amazing to see ! I had no idea it looked like this ! Majestic buildings and this wide open very big square !I Walked around there on my own, took some pictures and then went back to the venue. I helped a couple of my russian friends, Dasha and her mother to get in. For some reason they weren´t on the guestlist. But I fixed it with the promotor.
The pre-sales were good. In excess of a thousand. Very nice venue !
The gig turned out to be the best so far on this tour. It was a really, really good gig !
The audience was fantastic ! I had a great time performing. We all had !
Afterwards me, Thomas and Christian went out for signing. The fans are very nice ! 🙂
Back to the hotel to get some sleep !
October 15 – Minsk, Belarus
Shit – Woke up at 08:00 am when we were supposed to be ready in the lobby !!
First time on this tour I overslept. But it was ok. The others were still waiting for the shuttle that was gonna take us to the airport.
Heavy traffic in Moscow but we managed to get there in time. The flight to Minsk in Belarus only took about 2,5 hours.
Had a little nap for about an hour. Then to the venue. Nice place !
We always get to order very good good food both before and after the shows. – Here as well !
It was quite a surprise that more people here can speak english ! No problem at all to communicate.
Here we played the first show without Arkona. Felt a bit strange not to hear them before we went on stage…..
We had a wonderful audience ! Cheering, jumping up and down smiling ! It was great !
Back to the hotel for about 4-5 hours sleep.
