(Writing this on the airplane on our way to Buenos Aires)

LA PAZ, BOLIVIA
This day we had plenty of time to sleep and just take it easy until we had to go to the venue
for soundcheck. Thomas, Me, Johan and Linnéa went for a walk again in the city.
We met a girl who showed us to the “witches street”, the big catholic church and some other places.
The latitude of La Paz is about 3500 meters over the sea, so for people like us who are not used
to this, you get some help with the breathing by drinking coca tea. We also had some pills (whatever that was?)
We even found “coca-candy” and coca-leaves to chew.
The soundcheck went fine at this pretty big but “smaller arena” with a capacity of 2000 people.
Before the show we had a signing-session. It was almost hysterical ! It seemed it had no end !
We had to take a break and then go on with it again to later on interrupt the whole thing cause we
unfortunately didn´t have the time…….
The place was nearly sold out ! And the audience was just fantastic !
To me, this feels like some kind of “reward” for my 30 years in music business !
It´s a great feeling to get this appreciation, doing what you really love to do.
The singers found it hard to sing at this latitude, but they did a great job anyway.
Johan, the drummer, who has the most physical and strengthful part in this had to have some oxygen after the gig !
He was totally exhausted ! But everything was ok after being taken care of.
We got back to the hotel after midnight – and then it was time to get up at 04:00 (am) to go to the airport and
leave for Sao Paulo, Brasil. So we all got about only 3 hours sleep !

SAO PAULO, BRASIL
First the flight to Santa Cruz. Landed there and had to spend a few hours at the airport, and then lift-off
towards Sao Palo, Brasil. The flight was pretty shaky ! A bit scary sometimes even for me who is not really
afraid of flying, but it was like “I don´t have the time to die NOW” !! 😀
We lived at a very fine hotel in the city and everything was handled very professional by the promotor and his staff.
We didn´t have time for anything else than to just relax a couple of hours and then leave for soundcheck and gig.
We played at a rock-club with a capacity of about a 1000 people. – Crowded this time too, with a really great
audience. The same happy cheering as always here in Latin America.
Me and Linnéa did an interview together afterwards with some guy who also asked us about our favorite vampires !? 😀
When we got back to the hotel, me, Johan, TomTom (tourmanager) Havok (backline) Sami (drumtech) and
our new monitor-guy Martin stayed up and chatted for a while…….
This night we slept at the most 1 hour before leaving for the airport at 04:45 (am)
Yes ! – 1 Hour !!
– If you think this is only a holiday, rosegarden, silver and gold – you´re very wrong !
It´s also hard work !
(But someone´s gotta do it)
